📋 Description

• Assist with on-site property inspections and final review of appraisal reports • Primarily focus on inspection requirements • Perform final review of client deliverables for inspected jobs to ensure USPAP compliance • Verify subject property site and physical improvement descriptions and surrounding area descriptions observed during inspections • Prepare necessary exhibits and memos illustrating inspections • Travel frequently to on-site properties based on assigned work requests • Manage travel arrangements and associated expense reports • Participate in internal and external client meetings as needed • Build relationships with market and business line leaders to exchange best practices, accelerate innovation, and ensure quality and consistency

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside permanently within the state of Iowa, preferably in the Des Moines metro area • Issued and active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in at least 1 state; applicants without a CG license will not be considered • Willingness to become licensed in multiple states • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field • MAI designation or candidate preferred • Strategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisal • Active driver's license and ability to travel easily between states • Strong attention to detail and excellent time/calendar management strongly desired • Prior experience and expertise with Microsoft products, especially Outlook and Teams • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English • Must accommodate frequent travel of 50%+ per month • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, by telephone, and email • Visual acuity adequate to read printed sources and computer screens
