📋 Description

• Design, develop, and configure Salesforce-based solutions using low-code/no-code tools and custom code such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. • Configure and extend Salesforce Public Sector Solutions for grants management, including application intake, review workflows, award management, reporting, and stakeholder communications. • Implement and customize Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud for case management, citizen engagement portals, and workflows. • Develop accessible Salesforce user experiences aligned with Section 508 and WCAG standards. • Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories, workflows, and system features. • Develop and maintain secure integrations with external systems in compliance with federal standards. • Support legacy-system data migration through data mapping, transformation, and validation. • Write clean, documented code following Salesforce best practices and federal security requirements such as NIST and FISMA. • Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests. • Create technical documentation for project deliverables, gate reviews, and ATO cybersecurity requirements. • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance and scalability. • Support user training and system adoption. • Work with Salesforce Architects and Business Analysts in an Agile SCRUM environment. • Mentor junior developers and drive coding and architecture best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including custom coding (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components). • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce’s Public Sector Solutions and its standard framework components. • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce development tools (e.g., VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Workbench) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. • Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Green card holder. • Work must be performed in the United States (U.S.). • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years. • Active Salesforce Administrator Certification or Platform App Builder Certification, and Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I or II). • Must support US Eastern time zone working hours. • Preferred: existing transferable Public Trust. • Preferred: experience with OmniStudio, including Flex Cards, OmniScripts, DataMappers, and Integration Procedures. • Preferred: proficiency in Salesforce configuration and org administration. • Preferred: hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools. • Prior work with federal government clients highly preferred. • Preferred: DevOps experience, including package creation and deployment, code scan analysis and remediation, and regression testing. • Preferred: familiarity with user training or technical documentation for Salesforce solutions.
