📋 Description

• Make fuel purchasing and delivery decisions independently within established guidelines. • Monitor tank levels, usage trends, current inventory, and average daily usage to plan deliveries. • Monitor market conditions and adjust delivery timing as appropriate. • Schedule, coordinate, and manage fuel deliveries to customer locations. • Build working relationships with fuel suppliers and carriers. • Respond to customer calls, emails, and service requests. • Identify and resolve customer issues or coordinate with internal teams for additional support. • Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process. • Review vendor invoice exceptions, correct errors, and resolve discrepancies or invoice disputes. • Process and reconcile fuel purchases, deliveries, and sales across multiple systems. • Investigate transactional discrepancies. • Track fuel inventory, costs, pricing, and volumes for reporting and margin analysis. • Prepare and manage customer statements with accurate supporting documentation. • Partner with Accounting, Reconciliation, and other internal teams on customer reporting and analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. • At least 2 years of experience in dispatch, fuel accounting, logistics, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. • Basic understanding of accounting principles. • Strong Excel skills. • Comfort working across multiple systems and large volumes of transactional data. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time-management skills. • Ability to juggle multiple priorities independently and as part of a team. • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed as part of an on-call rotation. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. • Nice to have: an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. • Nice to have: petroleum or fuel industry experience.
