• Ensure underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities comply with current standards through field inspections and contractor-work verification • Perform audits, inspections, and pole transfers • Document findings electronically and manually when needed using printed spreadsheets • Use mapping/GPS technology to locate and verify plant infrastructure • Communicate with client and vendor management via email and cellular phone • Interface with construction crews, vendors, and client stakeholders • Travel to field sites as needed, including some overnight stays • Maintain records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions • Support safe and efficient construction, network reliability, service excellence, and timely project completion
• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew • Experience conducting wooden pole ground line inspections • Proficiency in OSP Construction Standards • Working knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products • Familiarity with Microsoft MapPoint (preferred, not required) • Comfort with internet use and web-based applications • Experience managing construction contractors in the field • Valid driver’s license • Flexibility to travel on short notice • Candidates must reside within one hour of Port St. Lucie, Florida or the surrounding area • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
