📋 Description

• Design and deliver enterprise learning and capability-building solutions focused on Pearson’s Power Skills, including Adaptability, Learning to Learn, and AI fluency • Apply evidence-based learning science, pedagogy, instructional design, and behavior-change principles • Design AI-enabled learning experiences that move learners from awareness to applied skill proficiency in the flow of work • Integrate generative and agentic AI responsibly into learning design, content development, delivery, and evaluation • Develop and iterate skill-rating, skill-evaluation, and skill-verification approaches • Partner with Product, Technology, OCTO, HR, business leaders, Product Managers, and Engineering teams • Co-design and stress-test Pearson products such as Credly Workforce, Skills Intelligence Engine, CARA, and Learning Hub as Customer 0 • Bring Pearson’s Career Architecture and Career Navigation System to life for employees and managers • Embed learning into workflows through CARA and other career-coach agents using the D.E.E.P. Learning Framework • Design targeted development for cohorts of common roles or job categories to enable progression and productivity • Measure capability growth, behavior change, adoption, and business outcomes using data and Pearson’s skills evaluation and verification approach • Develop case studies and proof points demonstrating internal adoption, business impact, and product credibility • Advise peers, HRBPs, business partners, and stakeholders on learning design, quality standards, and modern learning technologies • Drive delivery through complexity and translate emerging priorities into practical, measurable, adopted outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Proven applied experience designing and scaling learning and capability-building solutions in complex, matrixed organizations with visible impact on behavior and business outcomes • Demonstrable grounding in learning science, pedagogy, and behavior change • Ability to translate learning research into practice • Experience embedding AI and modern digital learning tools into design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation • Experience moving learners from awareness to applied capability in role • Experience with career development, career pathing, credentialing, and internal mobility • Working understanding of how skills data supports talent decisions • Experience partnering across HR, business, Product, and Technology teams • Comfortable navigating ambiguity to deliver adopted, measurable outcomes • Engagement with external research, market practice, and Pearson’s product portfolio • Learning and development / pedagogy expertise • Instructional and experience design expertise • Digital learning technology knowledge, including modern learning platforms, agentic AI, and adaptive systems • Program evaluation and skill verification • Analytical skills for evidencing behavior change and business impact • Business acumen • Stakeholder management • Problem solving • Strong curiosity about how people learn and how AI is reshaping learning • Strong judgment and prioritization in a complex, evolving environment • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach across strategy and delivery • Ability to define and advance new areas of work in a rapidly evolving context • Ability to partner with Product and Technology teams • Customer-centric, collaborative, inspiring leadership through expertise
