📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and caregivers, primarily related to ADHD and anxiety • Gather developmental, behavioral, psychiatric, medical, family, school, and psychosocial history • Assess symptom severity, functional impairment, diagnostic criteria, and differential diagnoses • Integrate clinical interview data, standardized measures, collateral information, and records into clinical formulations • Identify and assess safety concerns, including risk assessment and safety planning when indicated • Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations and next steps, including Clarity services, outside referrals, or higher levels of care • Communicate clinical findings and recommendations accessibly, compassionately, and actionably • Complete timely, accurate, high-quality clinical documentation • Collaborate with behavioral health, medical, and care coordination teams on care transitions • Apply assessment protocols consistently while exercising clinical judgment for complex presentations • Participate in consultation, training, calibration, and quality improvement • Exclusively provide behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations; no ongoing individual therapy caseload or routine group facilitation

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field and active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC; or doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with active licensure as a psychologist • Currently licensed in California and open to getting licensed in other states • Experience assessing children and adolescents and working with parents and caregivers • Strong foundation in diagnostic assessment, clinical formulation, differential diagnosis, and treatment planning • Experience assessing and treating pediatric ADHD and/or anxiety • Comfortable assessing risk, safety, symptom severity, and functional impairment and determining when a patient may need a different level or type of care • Able to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify clinically relevant information • Experience administering and interpreting standardized behavioral health screening or assessment measures • Clear communication of clinical findings and complex behavioral health concepts to families • Comfortable working within a structured, evidence-based assessment model while exercising independent clinical judgment • Values measurement, clinical quality, feedback, and consistency • Tech-savvy and a quick learner • Spanish proficiency is nice to have • Experience in integrated behavioral health, pediatric care, or multidisciplinary healthcare settings is nice to have • Experience conducting virtual behavioral health assessments is nice to have • Licensure in additional states is nice to have • Reliable, secure internet connection in a private, distraction-free setting
