📋 Description

• Perform purchase order/task order/contract pre-award functions on contracts • Provide relevant historical procurement information and current market/industry information • Assist in conducting and documenting market research activities • Prepare appropriate pre-solicitation and solicitation notices for OAS review • Provide proactive assistance to ensuring that requirements are complete and adequate for proceeding with procurement • Prepare analyses of business elements and pricing information of offers and quotes • Attend meetings with OAS associated with assigned workload • Provide assistance for controlling communications with the vendor community • Prepare appropriate notices of award for OAS review

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field • Minimum of five years of professional experience as a contract manager or specialist • Must have a current or previous FAC-C Certification • Knowledge of the Federal acquisition process and applicable laws and regulations. (e.g., the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) • Strong background in acquiring commercial supplies and/or services for the Federal Government • Excellent communication and self-organization • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision • Experience as an 1102 in the Federal Government is highly desirable.
