📋 Description

• Apply intermediate-level subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues • Work on problems of moderately complex scope and provide analysis and limited project-direction input • Audit cost reports and claims submissions • Perform ad-hoc focused audits • Identify inherent and residual risks and conduct risk-based audits • Develop an understanding of audited functions and identify findings and improvements using business knowledge, analytical skills, and experience • Provide ongoing progress reports and updates of audit findings • Participate in projects and audits • Provide research and data analysis for moderately complex projects • Stay abreast of new audit developments • Evaluate unique circumstances and make recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years with BS/BA; or 6 years of experience with a HS Diploma/equivalent • Typically 2+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or audit • Intermediate knowledge of internal audit policies and operating principles • Intermediate understanding of Medicare/Medicaid or healthcare auditing and their revenue cycles • Intermediate risk assessment and scoping skills • Strong research and analytical skills • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel • U.S. citizenship required • Degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or related field preferred • Intermediate financial and business acumen • Basic project management skills
