📋 Description

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines feeding medical data sources into a data lake • Partner with product manager and data lead to develop technical architectures for analytical models • Identify data inputs needed for analytics • Gather, prepare, and maintain analytics datasets • Oversee data systems in collaboration with the data management lead • Enhance infrastructure scalability and optimize data delivery by automating manual processes • Solve complex data problems to deliver analytics insights • Create data products for analytics and data science team members • Ensure adherence to data practices and standards • Advise, consult, mentor, and coach data and analytics colleagues • Foster sharing, reuse, scalability, stability, and operational efficiency • Lead evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and data engineering processes

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, or similar • BA/BS degree with 6+ years of data engineering experience, notably in healthcare, or 5+ years with an MBA/MS • Relevant certification and/or work experience in data engineering • Demonstrated effectiveness in a cross-functional business environment • Proven influencing skills and strong interpersonal skills • Ability to partner cross-culturally and regionally • Effective English verbal and written communication • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical medicine, including clinical trial design, GCP, data interpretation, drug development, regulatory and promotional rules, legal and compliance, issue management, and business development evaluations • Infrastructure as code, data warehousing, Apache Airflow, Kafka, or similar streaming data engineering tools • Databricks and DSS Data Science Studio (Dataiku) experience • Understanding of taxonomy structures and hierarchy • Experience with tag management solutions including Tealium iQ, GTM, Adobe Launch, Dynamic Tag Manager, or Ensighten • JavaScript coding and use of multiple tag managers and tag-debugging tools such as Charles Proxy • Marketing performance analysis using marketing and clickstream APIs, data aggregation, data cleaning, and transformation • Understanding of digital analytics, clickstream data, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Drupal platforms • At least 1 year in a client-facing role for solutioning and/or evangelizing technology approaches • HTML and CSS knowledge • Travel as required, up to 40% of the role • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Requires permanent work authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable
