📋 Description

• Provide therapeutic area and product expertise in malignant hematology and pipeline across medical customer segments and initiatives • Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within the Northern CA, OR, WA, ID, AK territory • Maintain knowledge of malignant hematology, associated disease states, and Pfizer medicines • Provide medical information to HCPs and share customer insights with Pfizer • Contribute to medical content strategy and execute aligned Field Medical tactics • Deliver approved medical content and scientifically supported information about Pfizer medicines • Identify priority customer segments and field inbound HCP queries through the established triage process • Partner with Oncology R&D and Global Product Development to identify clinical trial sites, including sites serving under-represented patient populations • Provide medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process • Cultivate malignant hematology expertise and familiarity with congress data and disease-state literature • Provide asset leadership and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation concepts • Lead the assigned territory and communicate with local Patient Advocacy Groups • Deliver insights on patient organization structures, capabilities, and patient population needs • Serve on medical, therapeutic-area, and asset cross-functional committees • Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical and professional associations and societies • Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board leads, and study leads • Manage projects in a remote environment and collaborate with matrixed, multidisciplinary teams • Travel regularly to HCP/customer meetings, internal meetings, and scientific congresses

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO degree required • 4+ years of relevant experience in malignant hematology required • Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Currently reside in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Alaska, preferably near San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland, or Seattle • Ability to manage significant project volume in a remote environment and prioritize effectively • Ability to work within a matrixed, multidisciplinary team • Ability to lead and adapt to change in an evolving healthcare environment • Ability to problem-solve and network enterprise-wide • Ability to rapidly adopt and use new digital technology and resources • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to operate a Pfizer company car • Ability to regularly fly on airplanes • Flexibility to travel 60–80% of the time • Reasonable proximity to an airline hub city • Ability to work on weekends when needed • Deep expertise and/or clinical experience in malignant hematology preferred • Established HCP network in the territory preferred • Previous Field Medical experience preferred • Familiarity with relevant SOPs, rules, and regulations preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
