• Learn and perform the medical imaging equipment installation process • Establish rapport with customers and demonstrate urgency in identifying and resolving customer issues • Perform work in at least one modality and potentially become qualified in multiple modalities • Maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends • Seek formal and informal training opportunities • Adopt best practices and schedule own activities • Assist other team members as needed • Complete administrative duties within Philips and regulatory timeframes, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documents, and site and service documentation • Provide best-in-class installation and customer service
• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries • Image guided therapy devices experience and training preferred • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment • Knowledge and use of necessary tools and test equipment • Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and above listed experience • BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred • Ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental requirements for the Field Service position • Ability to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting and in a hospital/healthcare environment • Ability to travel up to 100% via car, air, train, or bus, including weekend stays and occasional international travel • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations • Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear required personal protective equipment • US work authorization required; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered • Must reside in or within commuting distance to AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, or TX
