📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, execution, and day-to-day engineering operations for a key Protect domain, with a focus on reliability, delivery quality, and technical health. • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, building a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and strong technical execution. • Stay close to the architecture and implementation details, moving comfortably between planning, technical design, and operational problem-solving when needed. • Partner with Product, Research, SRE, and adjacent engineering teams to prioritize work, remove bottlenecks, and deliver scalable solutions in a multi-cloud environment. • Strengthen engineering fundamentals across your area, including observability, incident response, quality practices, CI/CD, and team operating cadences. • Use data, metrics, and technical judgment to identify systemic issues, improve team effectiveness, and raise the bar on execution.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering, including direct responsibility for team leadership and delivery outcomes. • Strong hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems in AWS and/or GCP, with familiarity in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering practices. • Proven ability to lead engineers through execution, improve engineering processes, and deliver reliable systems in production. • Strong technical grounding in modern backend engineering, observability, and operational excellence. • Experience in fraud prevention, authentication, voice biometrics, trust and safety, or related security products (Nice-to-haves). • Prior hands-on experience as a software, infrastructure, or platform engineer before moving into management (Nice-to-haves). • Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments where speed, scale, and cross-functional execution all matter (Nice-to-haves).
