📋 Description

• Own the month-end close for the South Bend business unit, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statements • Oversee day-to-day accounting with the AP and AR team • Manage software and services invoicing, ensuring billing runs on schedule and purchase orders and sales orders match • Track margin across software resale and services • Ensure timely payment of recurring publisher and vendor invoices • Maintain bank and balance sheet reconciliations and support sales tax compliance • Support the annual audit with the Pine accounting team • Serve as a lead user of Acumatica, helping design workflows and reports with internal Acumatica consultants • Identify and implement process improvements as the business scales

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Experience owning a full month-end close, including producing financial statements • Hands-on experience with AP, AR, cash management, and bank reconciliations • Experience supporting an external audit • Working knowledge of GAAP and sales tax • Advanced Excel skills • Comfortable working East Coast hours • Experience in a software reseller, VAR, or professional services environment (nice to have) • Acumatica or other mid-market ERP experience (nice to have) • Experience in a private equity-backed or multi-entity business (nice to have) • CPA or progress toward CPA (nice to have) • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about improving processes
