📋 Description

• Lead a strategic and growing hydronic systems portfolio segment for the North America Data Center business unit • Analyze market trends, customer needs, Trane portfolio gaps, and the competitive landscape • Initiate new offerings through engineering development and production • Manage sourced product relationships and strategic suppliers • Define product strategy, lifecycle management, multigenerational product plans, new product development, commercialization, customer research, and go-to-market strategy • Lead the Hydronic Solutions Product Growth Team • Explore evolving data center technologies • Evaluate Make vs. Buy decisions and potential M&A or partnership opportunities • Lead product line strategy, long-range planning, P&L, and annual operating plan • Manage revenue, margin, market share, and product line performance tradeoffs • Develop and execute channel strategy • Manage daily product line and supplier needs while identifying profitable growth opportunities • Develop and execute multigenerational product plans, including positioning, pricing, cost, margins, and customer value proposition • Align product strategy with peer portfolios, systems, services, and contracting initiatives • Define customer Critical to Quality specifications with market research teams • Initiate and support business cases for new product development programs • Create and execute marketing and commercialization for new products and product enhancements with strategic suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• More than 5 years of product management or strategic marketing experience • P&L leadership experience required • Bachelor's degree required • Technical bachelor's degree preferred • MBA highly desired • Experience in datacenters, HVAC industry and/or Lean preferred • Strong customer orientation and ability to understand customer business impact • Excellent communication and executive presence • Ability to articulate a strategic vision and execute it to deliver business results
