📋 Description

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practices • Providing counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalities • Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist • Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board • Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner • Works closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures • Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need • Maintain a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor licensure required in the state practicing (NY license) • Must have NY Medicaid Provider Number • Knowledge of medical terminology • Exceptional interpersonal skills • Deep understanding the psychosocial aspects of illness and health • Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning • Superb written and verbal communication skills • Strong crisis intervention skills • Excellent short-term counseling skills
