• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices • Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities • Participate in collaborative care team meetings • Develop collaborative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers • Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients • Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner • Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment • Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from a program accredited by the American/Canadian Psychological Association (APA) • Psychologist license in the state(s) practicing (NY license) • NY Medicaid Provider Number • 2+ years of experience post licensure • Strong oral and written communication skills • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred • Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care • Previous experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents • Previous experience with crisis intervention
