📋 Description

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices • Provide counseling and therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities • Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board • Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner • Work closely with patient and family to overcome obstacles in treatment • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures • Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment • Respond quickly to urgent needs • Maintain a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NY or NJ license) • Must have Medicaid Provider Number • Master’s Degree in Social Work is required • Minimum of 3000 hours of post Master’s social work experience • Knowledge of medical terminology • Exceptional interpersonal skills • Deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent short-term counseling skills
