📋 Description

• Work with Federal Affairs leadership, trade associations and other stakeholders to advance organizational priorities • Establish expertise in emerging health policy issues by attending health policy knowledge events relative to the Enterprise. • Track, analyze, summarize, and communicate relevant Federal legislation and regulations. • Work with the business and Government Affairs leadership to identify potential operational and policy impacts. • Provide technical support to departments regarding current, proposed and newly promulgated Federal guidance, acting as a subject matter expert.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. strongly preferred • Bachelor’s Degree required. Health care and/or public policy degree strongly preferred. • Minimum of five years’ work experience in a position requiring independent judgment and initiative. • Previous experience in a managed care setting and/or regulatory environment preferred. • Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to facilitate policy discussions with stakeholders of varied levels and build consensus. • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills. • Must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in all situations. • Must be proactive and able to work independently, be highly organized and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously. • Must also possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and other computer skills.
