📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in body imaging, including body CT, body MRI, and fluoroscopy • Work with CT, MRI, ultrasound, general radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography, and nuclear medicine • Perform image-guided procedures, including paracentesis, thyroid FNA, biopsies, lumbar punctures, and joint injections • Provide coverage for the Providence VA Healthcare System • Maintain provider availability throughout the 7:00am–8:00pm EST window each scheduled day • Teach and mentor through the affiliation with the University of Maryland School of Medicine

🎯 Requirements

• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine • Degree obtained from a school approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia • Completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification • Experienced Physician - Radiology • Availability for coverage Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 8:00pm Eastern time
