Postpartum Support International is a non-profit organization dedicated to perinatal and postpartum mental health. PSI provides direct peer support (including a multilingual helpline and online support groups), a provider directory, specialized resources for families (in English, Spanish and other languages), and an app for connecting to services. It also trains professionals, offers perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C), operates a psychiatric consultation program, promotes research and advocacy (e. g. , Mind the Gap initiative), and organizes conferences and public-awareness campaigns to advance maternal mental health.

📋 Description

• Support the PSI Alliance Director and PSI & Alliance teams in achieving the Alliance's strategic mission and goals. • Collaborate with internal and external organizations and community stakeholders to strengthen relationships with BIPOC-serving organizations. • Identify, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with organizations aligned with maternal mental health, reproductive justice, infant health, advocacy, and health equity initiatives. • Develop collaborative opportunities that support education, advocacy, leadership development, and community-based programming to support BIPOC communities. • Coordinate outreach efforts to increase awareness of PSI & Alliance programs, training, membership opportunities, and events. • Facilitate relationship-building opportunities across local, national, and global communities. • Gather feedback from community stakeholders to inform strategic direction and program improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Psychology, Communications, Nonprofit Leadership, Community Development, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, nonprofit leadership, maternal health, or related fields. • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, reproductive justice, maternal and infant health equity, and culturally responsive practices. • Strong understanding of perinatal mental health and challenges impacting BIPOC communities preferred. • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and facilitation skills. • Experience working collaboratively across diverse communities and sectors. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously. • Experience with program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic outreach. • Proficiency with virtual communication platforms and basic project management systems
