📋 Description

• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects • Daily travel with independent work structure • Provide 24x7 “on-call” services as required unless on PTO or Off Call • Maintain and safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments • Perform required preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled • Customer contact and interface • Communicate availability status to corporate office • Maintain company vehicle in safe and operational condition • Ensure that work is performed to PSS standards • Complete all paperwork, including Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports, and other job required reports timely and accurately

🎯 Requirements

• Level II Technician requires three years of field experience servicing generator systems with some experience on 500kw+ • Proficient Level III Technician requires six years of field experience servicing generator systems with extensive experience on 500KW+ • Proficient with preventative maintenance, paralleling switch gear, ATS repairs, controller retrofits and Loadbanking equipment • Level IV Technician requires ten years of field experience servicing generator systems of all sizes and applications • Expert in preventative maintenance, paralleling switch gear, retrofitting advanced controls and Loadbanking equipment • High School diploma or GED equivalent, related military experience or equivalent field experience • Familiar with Volvo and PSI engines • Operational and functional understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems • Expert troubleshooting skills • Ability to deal with customers where tact may be required
