📋 Description

• Conceptualize, design, implement, and validate machine learning algorithms for the Clinical Decision Support Platform • Apply statistics, programming, data modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced mathematics to healthcare datasets • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms • Perform exploratory data analysis on complex, highly dimensional datasets • Collaborate with developers and product engineers to translate prototypes into products, services, and features • Participate in data exploration and conceptual design for strategic initiatives • Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret product experiment results • Analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems and develop production solutions • Develop features and stories for product backlogs • Provide data science advice, demonstrations, presentations, mentoring, and training • Conduct research as needed • Develop project estimates and work plans • Identify, develop, review, and evolve best practices, standards, operating procedures, and processes • Participate in reviewing team member deliverables • Support analyses alongside senior/principal data scientists and product directors/senior directors

🎯 Requirements

• 2 or more years of applicable experience • Bachelor’s degree required • Apply machine learning to real world problems • Successful track record of delivering results in a complex cross-functional project • Knowledge of SQL, R and/or Python and associated scientific, data, and machine learning libraries • Experience working in one or more cloud computing environments • Software development experience in an agile environment • Experience with workflow tools such as Luigi or Airflow • Health care research experience with large patient data sets • Experience manipulating and analyzing large-scale datasets • Experience applying the data science lifecycle to gain insights and perform causal inference • Experience working in remote teams • Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods • Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and electronically • Ability to work collaboratively in a business environment with peers and interruptions • Ability to make independent decisions
