📋 Description

• Provide assessment and evidence-based care to individuals, families, and groups • Participate in a comprehensive Behavioral Health team serving emergency departments, inpatient medical units, clinical intake, inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient clinics, and primary care service lines • Identify, triage, and manage patients with behavioral health problems in varied settings • Provide skill training through patient education strategies • Develop behavioral health change plans for individual patients and behavioral health protocols for target populations • Perform counseling and case management, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, discharge planning, and evaluation • Counsel patients and significant others and facilitate brief psychotherapy and educational groups • Perform risk management documentation and follow-up actions • Recommend program cost-control measures to the supervisor • Participate in internal Continuous Quality Improvement processes, peer review, audits, Joint Commission survey preparation, and clinical path implementation • Select and provide clinical supervision to adjunctive therapists and student interns • Maintain accurate, complete, and current patient-chart documentation • Recommend safety and therapeutic quality measures for unit areas or rooms • Serve as a professional role model and clinical consultant • Attend ongoing internal and external professional development events • Perform other functions as required

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree • NM LCSW or LPCC • Experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) • Ability to provide assessment and evidence-based care to individuals, families, and groups • Ability to provide behavioral health consultation and liaison services in emergency departments and inpatient units • Ability to perform counseling and case management, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, and evaluation • Ability to facilitate brief psychotherapy and educational groups • Ability to perform risk management documentation and follow-up actions • Ability to participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities, peer review, audits, Joint Commission survey preparation, and clinical path implementation • Ability to provide clinical supervision to adjunctive therapists and student interns • Ability to maintain accurate, complete, and current patient-chart documentation
