📋 Description

• Analyze workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues associated with Epic software • Build and maintain Epic application content according to department assignments and functional specifications • Complete unit testing and document or report system issues • Populate databases during initial system builds with Epic assistance • Collect enhancement and functionality requirements and prepare specifications • Analyze data conversion and interface needs • Develop and document project procedures and establish change-control processes • Participate in training development and delivery for end users • Troubleshoot end-user problems and investigate questions • Collaborate with report writers to ensure necessary application reports • Prioritize and implement system changes and evaluate new release functionality • Communicate with Epic representatives and the end-user community • Provide end-user support during implementations and serve as an application expert during rollouts • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Services, health administration, business administration, health sciences, or related field • Two years of Epic or integrated EMR experience • Alternatively, an Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and four years of related IT experience may be considered • Alternatively, a High School Diploma or equivalent and seven years of related IT experience may be considered • Alternatively, one year of Epic build and/or support experience may be considered • Epic Module Certification as required by the position • CPHIMS preferred • Presentation skills • Communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask
