📋 Description

• Provide purely human written translations from English into the native target language using the XTM CAT tool • Follow project work instructions, glossaries and reference materials • Ensure source content's concept, style and register are culturally and linguistically appropriate • Perform language quality checks before delivery • Deliver completed jobs by specified deadlines and project budgets • Review formatted target-language PDF files and mark corrections using Adobe markup tools • Communicate promptly and professionally with Prisma team members • Participate in quality management processes, including Corrective Action Reports, Root Cause Analyses and solution implementation • Protect sensitive information such as PHI, PII and SBU • Follow Prisma's MSA and Vendor Guide policies and processes

🎯 Requirements

• US-based professional legal translator • ATA Certified or DSHS LTC Certified in the target language pair; one certification is required • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in legal terminology, judicial procedures and court forms • Adherence to the ATA Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility • Two years of experience providing written translations to U.S. state courts and judicial offices • Adherence to Prisma's Master Service Agreement (MSA) and related MSA Addenda • Fluency in English and the target language • Experience and ability to use modern CAT tools; XTM is provided • Ability to work with PC and MAC formats, including MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, PDFs with fillable fields, rich text, and XML/text blocks • Must have Adobe Acrobat and know how to use Adobe's markup tools in PDF files • Reliable desktop PC or laptop with dedicated, secure, high-speed internet connection • Ability to accommodate fast turnarounds for small word count projects • After-hours and weekend availability is a plus
