• Install, configure, and manage Epic Hyperspace, Epic-specific print services, Interconnect, and related client system components. • Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security of Epic applications. • Support Citrix, VMware, or other virtual delivery platforms used to provide Epic access. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epic client applications, end user access, and environment stability. • Collaborate with technical teams, application analysts, and vendors to support upgrades, patches, and new releases. • Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration records. • Manage and maintain Epic print services, including deployment and troubleshooting of printers within Epic. • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing. • Provide on-call support as needed for production issues. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and security requirements.
• Epic Client Systems Administrator certification • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience supporting Epic client applications and infrastructure. • Familiarity with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy. • Experience with Citrix, VMware, or similar virtualization technologies. • Strong troubleshooting skills for application and system performance issues. • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and load balancing. • **Preferred Skills** • Experience with healthcare IT systems and workflows. • Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.). • Prior experience in large enterprise environments with 24/7 clinical operations. • Soft-Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and clinical teams. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
