📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance PostgreSQL databases for large-scale transactional applications. • Develop and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs within Ruby on Rails applications. • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure database scalability, reliability, and observability. • Perform advanced query optimization, indexing, and partitioning to achieve rapid response times. • Implement security measures, replication, and disaster recovery plans for databases. • Support continuous integration and deployment processes with database migration best practices. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through proactive tuning and analysis. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture discussions to foster continuous improvement. • Maintain detailed documentation for database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience in database design and software engineering • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and query optimization • Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails architecture • Hands-on experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs for high-volume applications • Experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and test-driven development
