📋 Description

• Own the design, administration, and optimization of ProScore’s AWS infrastructure across production and non-production environments • Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems to support API-driven and data-intensive workloads • Lead infrastructure automation efforts using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) • Define and enforce operational standards, monitoring strategies, and alerting best practices • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews • Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans • Implement and oversee AWS security best practices (IAM, network segmentation, encryption, access controls) • Collaborate with engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and system architecture decisions • Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point for systems-related issues • Maintain clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure, or SRE-related roles • Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) • Strong Linux systems administration background • Proven experience designing and supporting production-grade, customer-facing systems • Strong automation and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) • Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles • Experience working independently in a remote, distributed environment • Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset • Nice to Have: AWS certifications (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) • Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA • Background in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
