📋 Description

• Develop and manage spatial data supporting the identification and mapping of cultural resources in project regions • Create detailed maps and analyze spatial relationships • Integrate GIS data into regional cultural resources field guides • Ensure geographic information is accurate, current, and effectively used to enhance field guides • Design, develop, and implement systems and databases for accessing and storing geospatial data • Design digital maps using geospatial data • Analyze spatial and non-spatial information • Support professional services engagements for USDA FPAC Environmental Activities Division clients • Produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria • Meet project milestones and delivery schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) • Proficiency in GIS software and spatial data analysis • Ability to create detailed maps and spatial representations • Data management and integration skills • Analytical thinking and problem-solving • Precision in handling spatial data and geographic information • Ability to support interdisciplinary teams with geographic insights • Understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary • Ability to perform duties in a competent and professional manner and meet milestones/delivery schedules • Commitment to high ethical and business conduct standards
