📋 Description

‱ Ensure Council meetings employ a fluid, consensus-based decision-making process ‱ Collaborate with the Council Chair to plan meetings and organize agendas ‱ Provide support for full Council meetings and workshops ‱ Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant to provide meeting support ‱ Facilitate consensus-based decision-making in meetings and conference calls ‱ Write and distribute draft meeting summaries and Executive Summaries

🎯 Requirements

‱ Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years ‱ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology ‱ Seven years of relevant experience ‱ Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study ‱ Experience dealing with diverse interests and contentious issues ‱ Knowledge of facilitating groups of diverse stakeholders to reach consensus decisions ‱ Certified Professional Facilitator (preferred) ‱ Experience facilitating tribal, state, and federal stakeholders (preferred) ‱ Knowledge of environmental law, particularly the natural resource damage assessment (NRDA) portion of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Department of Interior regulations and guidelines pertaining to NRDA (preferred) ‱ Knowledge of applicable treaties including the Treaties of 1855 ‱ Excellent oral and written communication skills ‱ Must be a United States Citizen
