📋 Description

• Analyze and document historic buildings, structures, and landscapes encountered by FSA staff in the field • Contribute expert input to the development of regional cultural resources field guides • Identify and assess the significance of architectural features within each region • Ensure field guides contain clear and accurate information about relevant architectural heritage • Produce thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products • Perform duties in a competent and professional manner while meeting project milestones and delivery schedules • Support environmental services solutions for USDA FPAC clients

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree meeting the Secretary of the Interior qualifications for architectural historian • Knowledge of architectural history and historic preservation • Skills in documenting and analyzing historic structures • Proficient in creating detailed architectural reports • Strong attention to detail and visual analysis • Ability to interpret architectural styles and construction methods • Expertise in compliance with historic preservation standards • Thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products • Competent and professional performance meeting milestones and delivery schedules • Understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary
