📋 Description

• Draft, edit, and finalize content for Regional Cultural Resources Identification Field Guides • Translate technical information into plain language • Ensure clarity, readability, and consistency across all guide sections • Collaborate with subject matter experts • Ensure guides are informative and accessible to FSA staff with varying levels of expertise • Produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products • Meet established milestones and delivery schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Minimum of five years' experience in technical writing and editing • Proficiency in writing and editing technical content • Ability to translate complex information into clear, plain language • Strong attention to grammar, style, and consistency • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks • Collaborative working style, particularly with subject matter experts • Work products must be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria • Duties must be performed in a competent and professional manner meeting milestones and delivery schedules • Understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio • Ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary • Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, and Hunting sector experience is relevant; functional and technical area expertise is ideal
