📋 Description

• Oversee the ISSO Support/Independent Security Controls Assessment Department • Maintain security compliance, documentation accuracy, and continuous monitoring for Department of State systems • Oversee POA&M tracking, RMF documentation updates, vulnerability status maintenance, audit preparation, and system owner coordination • Ensure systems remain compliant with FISMA and NIST requirements • Oversee operational structure for ISSO support and independent assessments • Align department operations with governance standards, RMF expectations, and contract performance objectives • Provide executive leadership across ISSO security governance and RMF assessment operations • Oversee planning cycles, milestones, and multi-team synchronization • Manage stakeholder engagement among ISSOs, assessors, government leads, and system owners • Oversee security compliance, RMF lifecycle monitoring, artifact and documentation readiness, government ISSO and security engineering coordination, deliverable quality review and approval, and multi-department staffing and performance

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in federal cybersecurity program management • PMP, CISSP, or CAP certification is recommended • Demonstrated experience leading ISSO or RMF teams • Minimum Secret security clearance required • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance • Candidates must be able to obtain clearance without sponsorship; ProSync cannot sponsor candidates for a security clearance • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field
