📋 Description

• Administer and reconcile profit-sharing retrospective program accounts • Calculate, validate, and support timely processing of profit-sharing payouts according to contractual agreements • Analyze financial and operational data to monitor program performance and identify trends, variances, or discrepancies • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, schedules, and reports for internal and external stakeholders • Assist with internal and external audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements • Partner with cross-functional teams to research issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve reporting accuracy • Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, controls, and data integrity • Support special projects and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of 1–2 years of accounting, finance, financial analysis, or program analysis experience • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience interpreting financial data and performing account reconciliations • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts, including GAAP • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms • Knowledge of profit-sharing, participation accounting, or retrospective financial programs • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple assignments independently • Preferred: 3+ years of relevant experience, insurance-related financial analysis experience, ERP experience, CPA/CPA candidacy or advanced degree, and remote/virtual work experience
