📋 Description

• Increase business at dealerships through training, production monitoring, and analysis of Finance and Insurance product sales • Create and develop sales strategy plans to increase dealer profitability • Advise Dealer Finance and Insurance personnel on techniques ensuring compliance with all customers • Create action plans through coordinated group and individual training, production reviews, and product enhancement recommendations • Oversee month-to-month production and advise dealer principals, general managers, and finance directors on strategies to improve profits • Provide ongoing service to dealership accounts by promoting and training on products • Provide clients with product details, warranty procedures, pricing, and new product information • Resolve client inquiries, complaints, disputes, and concerns; perform follow-up procedures • Create and implement dealership-specific sales practices and financial incentives • Formulate dealership procedures to increase Finance and Insurance department profit while maintaining legal compliance • Meet monthly with Executive Management to review accounts, recommend approaches, and report problems and corrective actions • Recommend Finance and Insurance pay-plan incentives and sales goals • Report competitive information by analyzing monthly reports and monitoring dealership production • Negotiate and set pricing on certain Walkaway products with new dealership clients • Lead monthly production meetings and training activities • Communicate and monitor each dealership's product directive • Support and enforce company sales policies and procedures and develop long-term client relationships • Assess client needs and make recommendations using Finance and Insurance industry and company product expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager or F&I Director within an automotive dealership (required) • Demonstrated success in increasing F&I production, profitability, product penetration, and compliance performance • Strong working knowledge of dealership operations, lender relationships, menu selling, and regulatory compliance requirements • Consistent and regular travel within the state of California • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram instructions • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, internet, order processing, project management, database, and contract management software • Two to four years related experience and/or training • Valid driver's license • Oral and written communication skills • Sales technique, customer relations, and customer service skills • Technical communication skills • Math aptitude • Negotiation skills • Organizational and time management skills • Presentation skills • Ability to follow procedure manuals • Ability to regularly drive and occasionally lift/move 15 to 20 pounds
