📋 Description

• Assist with clinician/coder training and ongoing department education • Assist with identifying, developing, and delivering new and ongoing clinician education and training related to coding and clinical documentation improvement opportunities • Conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews and audits • Provide documentation supporting coding review work • Educate clinicians and coders based on review and audit findings

🎯 Requirements

• Upon hire: National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders • Upon hire: National Certified Coding Associate (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Certified Coding Specialist (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Certified Health Data Analyst (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Registered Health Information Administrator (American Health Information Management Association) • Upon hire: National Registered Health Information Technician (American Health Information Management Association) • 5 years' experience in medical insurance reimbursement, medical billing, and coding related to charge review and work RVU’s • 5 years' experience reviewing patient account information, insurance explanation of benefits, and financial records • Associate's Degree is preferred
