📋 Description

• Work in conjunction with an RN/provider to ensure quality patient care and optimum customer service • Coordinate inpatient and outpatient surgical cases • Provide routine and complex financial counseling to patients • Research routine and complex referral and billing issues • Complete routine and complex encounter form coding for all surgical cases

🎯 Requirements

• Health care or insurance experience • 1 year of ambulatory practice experience • 1 year of experience with ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS coding • 1 year of third-party billing and referrals experience • Prior experience in a liaison role for providers and staff • Comparable outpatient care setting experience preferred • Experience with Windows, Word, and Excel preferred
