• Support project managers and other departments with design support • Provide the Mechanical Projects install team with design drawings as necessary • Confirm that the end product meets design specifications • Maintain facility drawing records, including management and maintenance of plant layout drawings • Operate a 3D scanner as needed to create plant as-built drawings • Support the machine shop by standardizing, updating, and creating parts drawings • Support future CNC operations • Support design needs for operations, safety, and small projects
• 5+ years of experience in CAD Design Engineering • Organizational and design engineering skills • Effective communication skills • Experience delivering designs on time • Engineering degree (Bachelor’s) preferred • Experience in the wire manufacturing industry preferred • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to manufacturing equipment • Excellent computing and software skills, including Autodesk software (2D and 3D) and Microsoft Office • Experience with Smartsheet
