📋 Description

• Elicit requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, joint application design (JAD) sessions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis • Write functional requirement documents and specifications • Create information architectures, wireframes, page mockups and prototypes • Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms • Maintain and enforce design standards and branding • Promote and enforce usability standards and best practices • Refactor and modernize legacy web applications • Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients to analyze information needs and functional requirements • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs

🎯 Requirements

• A BS degree in information systems, software engineering or related field or combination of education and experience is necessary • Five or more years of demonstrated success as a web designer • Two or more years of experience with responsive and adaptive design • Experience with Human-Centered Design Process • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery • Experience with screen mockup tools and prototype evaluation with end users and clients • Self-starter with leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate requirement-gathering sessions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and manage project scope changes • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project and Excel
