• Manage technology projects from small to large scale ($100,000 to $3,000,000+) • Perform software development and implementations, and production support using project management best practices and formal SDLC processes • Provide hands-on project management and support for multiple projects across the Education practice area • Support staff in adopting new processes, tools, and methodologies • Lead and direct team members in a matrixed organization • Apply advanced problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis, alternatives, and solutions • Build trusting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders • Manage software development projects through the entire SDLC • Own and remain accountable for project outcomes • Liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex information into actionable results • Communicate with and influence clients, project teams, and staff • Manage team and stakeholder conflicts, mediate disagreements, and drive consensus • Inspire and motivate team members while maintaining accountability for deliverables • Build and maintain schedules using MS Project • Provide after-hours support and travel as required
• Bachelor’s degree • 8+ years of experience in formal project management, managing software development of complex, multi-year projects • Knowledge of technology solutions and extensive experience within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Project Management Certification (PMP) • Knowledge of K-12 education technology solutions (nice to have) • Education consulting experience (nice to have) • Proficiency in project management best practices, including scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk/issue, stakeholder, and procurement management • Ability to lead and direct team members in a matrixed organization • Proven ability to apply advanced problem-solving techniques • Ability to build schedules using MS Project • Ability to work remotely with teams and clients • Ability to provide after-hours support and travel as required • PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship
