PulseSafety is expanding its ecosystem with planned CAD, RMS, and JMS modules to create a unified agency operations platform that improves efficiency, transparency, and accountability for public safety organizations.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the founder to finalize MVP features and plan the long-term roadmap • Research and incorporate feedback from law enforcement users, including officers, records staff, and command • Write product specifications and user stories and translate them into technical tasks • Develop and maintain full-stack applications across frontend and backend • Design database schemas and multi-tenant infrastructure for agencies • Implement secure, scalable integrations with Twilio, Slack, and government systems • Contribute to hosting, deployment, and architecture decisions • Balance rapid delivery with long-term scalability and compliance • Bring CommandCORE from MVP to production launch and beyond

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js or similar frameworks • Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Neon • Ability to turn user needs into technical requirements • Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort wearing multiple hats in a startup environment • Comfortable with equity-only compensation at this stage • Bonus: prior experience in govtech, public safety software, or CJIS compliance • Bonus: exposure to product management or product ownership responsibilities • Portfolio or GitHub links are welcome • Preference for candidates in or near Austin, TX
