• Plan, direct, and oversee large-scale projects across assigned contracts in alignment with organizational priorities and Veterans Affairs mission needs • Conduct comprehensive project planning, establish timelines, allocate resources, monitor budgets, and deliver high-quality results within funding and scheduling parameters • Prepare detailed reports, executive briefings, and operational updates on progress, risks, and opportunities • Coordinate between Qlarant, law enforcement agencies, and VA stakeholders • Foster relationships and facilitate communication and information sharing with law enforcement and VA partners • Support interagency initiatives, meetings, and task force engagements • Provide subject-matter expertise on law enforcement protocols, VA systems, public safety risks, emerging threats, CMS issues, healthcare fraud trends, and law enforcement engagement • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, confidentiality requirements, contractual requirements, and CMS policies • Develop work plans, assign duties, coordinate project teams, and drive projects on schedule and within budget • Conduct meetings, focus groups, committees, training programs, briefings, and training events • Evaluate and modify schedules, plans, processes, and deliverables based on status reports and operational needs • Manage team performance through feedback and formal performance reviews • Serve as the primary contact for local, state, and federal law enforcement partners and external stakeholders • Facilitate intelligence exchange and coordination on cases, incidents, and emerging schemes • Assist agencies with interpretation of organizational and CMS policies, programs, capabilities, and resources
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree; education can be substituted for experience • 15+ years of experience required • Veterans Affairs experience preferred • Active and current Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Healthcare Management (CPHM), Certified Case Manager (CCM), Registered Nurse (RN), and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification preferred • Ability to work independently within broad departmental policies and practices • Knowledge of law enforcement protocols, VA systems, CMS policies and programs, healthcare fraud trends, public safety risks, and emerging threats • Ability to plan and manage large-scale projects, budgets, schedules, resources, and contractual requirements • Ability to prepare reports, executive briefings, operational updates, articles, and proposals • Ability to develop and conduct training programs and resources • Ability to build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, VA stakeholders, contractors, and external customers • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screens required
