📋 Description

• Design overhead transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range • Prepare construction sketches for overhead network services from 4 KV through 34 KV • Perform structural analysis and design • Perform foundation designs • Model transmission lines in PLS-CADD • Determine right-of-way requirements • Calculate conductor sags • Develop transmission line plan and profile drawings • Review vendor submittals

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited school • 4–6 years of experience in overhead transmission design • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and MFAD or similar • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • High attention to detail • Ability to discuss technical recommendations effectively with customers • Strong computer skills • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time • Valid driver's license • PE license is a plus
