📋 Description

• Apply GenAI and LLM-based ML/AI techniques to develop, scale, and integrate model systems into large-scale cloud-based SaaS healthcare environments • Design, build, and evaluate healthcare solutions including predictive models, summarization, and semantic search • Perform research, experimentation, data management, and model evaluation • Develop high-level solution architectures with offshore big-data engineers and decision science analysts • Build, test, and assess models that predict and optimize client business outcomes • Ensure responsible AI practices covering quality, fairness, and safety using LLM-as-judge, RAGAS, and LangSmith • Translate complex insights into simple, quantifiable business impacts for clients • Lead client discussions on architecture design and troubleshooting • Provide solutions proactively and mentor senior resources and team leads • Collaborate with product, clinical, data science, engineering, and offshore delivery teams • Share knowledge, contribute to team culture, and identify sales opportunities • Provide thought leadership and industry best practices • Lead technology teams and support their performance • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Mentor and groom junior team members and guide designs from concept to development • Write clear reports accessible to varied audiences

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience • Ph.D. graduate with 1+ years of related industry experience OR Master's graduate with 4+ years of industry experience, including at least 1 year directly related to healthcare ML/AI • Multiple major product releases in a commercial SaaS environment • Hands-on experience with healthcare data, such as EHR, ADT, and clinical notes • Proficiency in Python • Proficiency with SQL and data engineering for AI/ML applications • Experience with large datasets and big data frameworks such as Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, or Databricks • Understanding of transformer models and LLM-based approaches • Hands-on experience with prompt tuning and PEFT methods such as LoRA and QLoRA using Hugging Face Transformers • Experience with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and LightGBM • Experience deploying models using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and production ML scaling • Experience with reinforcement learning or RLHF, NLP techniques, RAG pipelines, or agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex • Leadership, mentoring, conflict management, and stakeholder collaboration abilities • Experience leading multiple large projects • Deep understanding of Agile development • Good to have: statistical tools and techniques; Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies • Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
