• Perform primary source verification and quality assurance of radiologists’ credentials • Query the AMA, NPDB, FMSB, Certifacts, and background checks • Communicate with radiologists about onboarding, reappointment, continuing medical education, health and physical compliance, and related matters • Prepare and present radiologists’ files to the Credentialing Committee and Board • Follow up and build relationships with outside entities and contacts • Set and meet target dates and maintain timely, accurate database notes • Follow up on deficiencies and ensure their completion • Maintain working knowledge of current and upcoming vRad Bylaws and Joint Commission Standards • Perform other assigned duties
• Minimum 2 years administrative experience • Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook • Goal-oriented • Good negotiation and people skills • Ability to make independent decisions • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards a plus • Proven ability to adapt to change
