📋 Description

• Ensure receipt of deposits and balance and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly bank deposits • Perform payment posting and payment follow-ups with emphasis on timeliness, quality, and accuracy • Update and maintain reconciliation logs and spreadsheets • Review, investigate, and reconcile deposits and supporting documentation for accurate posting • Investigate, research, and resolve outstanding deposits by contacting clients and payers as needed • Research information needed to clear posting errors and follow-ups • Participate in month-end closing • Retrieve and post remittances from payer websites when needed • Research unidentified payments and recoupments to determine appropriate resolutions • Identify patterns and trends indicating potential issues and notify leads or supervisors • Answer client inquiries and provide information • Reconcile daily cash deposits to the billing system and bank • Complete special projects and assignments as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of medical insurance posting experience • Knowledge of payer contract and government reimbursement rules • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word • Proficiency in Google applications • Skilled in computer applications for payment posting • Understanding of A/R follow-up • Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement policies • Experience with medical billing software; Raintree Systems experience is a plus • Basic understanding of accounting and math skills • Basic AI fluency to identify efficiency gains and streamline workflows • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and within a team structure • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to prioritize, complete tasks, and meet deadlines • Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines, HR policies, standard operating procedures, and corporate initiatives • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not require employment visa sponsorship
