📋 Description

• Oversee indirect tax compliance across sales and use tax, VAT/GST, property tax, and gross receipts tax jurisdictions. • Review taxability determinations, nexus analyses, filings, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Lead responses to indirect tax notices and audits, preparing documentation and technical support for tax positions. • Evaluate and enhance indirect tax processes and controls to improve scalability and compliance integrity. • Partner with Accounting, Legal, and Product teams to advise on indirect tax implications of new initiatives and revenue streams.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of indirect tax experience in public accounting and/or in-house corporate tax roles. • Strong hands-on experience with U.S. sales and use tax compliance and audit management. • Experience managing or coordinating international VAT/GST compliance. • Working knowledge of property tax and gross receipts tax regimes. • Experience with tax engines and ERP systems, with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
