📋 Description

• Own RapidAI’s mobile and web apps used by acute-care teams to receive AI triage notifications, review imaging, and coordinate care • Set product direction, roadmap, priorities, measurable outcomes, and report post-launch results • Spend time with clinicians and observe stroke codes, PE response activations, and hospital transfers to define problems • Build working prototypes with AI coding and design tools and test them with clinicians • Write epics, user stories, testable acceptance criteria, edge cases, error states, and analytics events • Identify opportunities for language models and agents to support care teams, define quality evaluations, and design for model errors • Own notification behavior, thresholds, settings, delivery monitoring, and supportability with Platform and Engineering • Define reusable product patterns for notifications, patient-list cards, case summaries, status feeds, and settings • Work within medical-device design controls with Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical; contribute to risk analysis, usability engineering, verification, validation, and release readiness • Collaborate with Design and Engineering across time zones • Communicate roadmap updates, decision records, release notes, demos, and product decisions to executives and clinical, sales, and support teams • Support key customer conversations and equip product marketing and customer success with product information • Improve AI agents and workflows used by the product team and mentor other product managers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software product management experience, including ownership of a mobile or web product that professionals rely on in their daily work • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, nursing or another health profession, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Uses AI through repeatable workflows for research synthesis, requirements, analysis, and prototyping, and can demonstrate its impact on speed or quality • Hands-on experience building working prototypes or tools with AI coding tools and testing them with real users • Product prioritization judgment with incomplete information; ability to state assumptions and change course based on evidence • Record of writing precise, testable, complete requirements covering edge cases • Depth in mobile products, including iOS and Android conventions, push notifications, Focus and Do Not Disturb, critical alerts, poor connectivity, app store review, staged rollout, and legacy app versions • Technical fluency in APIs, data models, and system design • Clear, concise writing and ability to explain decisions to clinicians, engineers, and executives • Ownership of AI-assisted work, including defining quality criteria, critically checking outputs, and catching errors • Preferred: experience building for clinicians, especially acute care, or clinical background such as nursing • Preferred: experience shipping software as a medical device or in regulated environments; FDA design controls, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and IEC 62366 • Preferred: experience shipping AI-powered features, writing evaluations, judging model output quality, and designing for model failures • Preferred: experience building agents, automations, or skills used in daily work • Preferred: experience with real-time messaging, alerting, or care-team communication products • Preferred: familiarity with DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA • Preferred: product analytics experience including event instrumentation, funnels, and cohort analysis
