📋 Description
• Lead the firm’s tax department as the senior technical authority • Drive Tax Advisory Services (TAS) growth and lead the team • Deliver an exceptional client experience at every tier • Ensure operational excellence and maintain accountability in the tax department • Develop and support tax advisors and preparers • Expand and deepen the advisory practice across the client base • Build trusted relationships with high-value clients
🎯 Requirements
• CPA required; MS in Taxation strongly preferred • 10+ years of public accounting experience with meaningful time in a leadership or review capacity • Mastery of tax strategy development. Ability to quickly diagnose a client’s situation and sketch out the tactics to mitigate their tax exposure • Deep fluency in individual and business taxation—1040s, 1120-S, 1065, multi-state, multi-entity structures • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the advisory level • Experience managing or developing tax staff • Comfortable in a growing firm—you bring structure, not just headcount
