• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming issues via ticket, phone, chat, or walk-up • Resolve password resets, account lockouts, printer problems, basic software errors, and connectivity drops • Log, categorize, and prioritize tickets in Jira, HaloPSA, or a similar ticketing system • Diagnose and resolve escalated software, hardware, and technical issues • Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clear troubleshooting documentation • Provision and configure laptops, workstations, and mobile devices, including imaging and MDM enrollment • Deploy operating-system updates and enterprise software suites • Perform hardware repairs or coordinate warranty replacements with vendors • Troubleshoot local Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN, routers, switches, and access points • Manage network printers, VOIP phones, and video conferencing equipment • Create, modify, and offboard user accounts through Active Directory or Okta • Ensure endpoint protection, disk encryption, and MFA are enabled and current • Assist with file backups and lost-data recovery • Write and update SOPs and knowledge base articles for the internal IT team • Create how-to guides for non-technical staff to promote self-service and reduce repeat tickets
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11, macOS, Windows Server, and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, and Azure • Experience with Jira, HaloPSA, and remote desktop/RMM tools • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues • Ability to use Active Directory or Okta for identity management • Knowledge of endpoint protection, disk encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) • Ability to document troubleshooting steps, write SOPs, and create knowledge base articles • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain English • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or ITIL Foundation certification preferred
